ARIST INFO

Most people are familiar with Tom's success with the Grapes of Wrath, but don't know that he has been making music since the age of 14 when he founded his first band - a punk outfit called "The Gentleman of Horror" who released their now collectible 7 inch 5 song EP in January 1981.

The highly recognizable singer move to a tiny island off the westcoast of British Columbia after the break-up of the Grapes of Wrath, and began performing solo shows and recording his solo material.

His new CD, The Unexplored Cosmos "goes where this man has never gone before" says Tom of his ability to work as a solo artist in the studio on his project. He plays practically all the instruments on the CD (including piano and banjo) and laid down all the beats and guitars. Tom was thrilled to be reunited in the studio with his brother and former Grapes of Wrath drummer Chris Hooper on his CD. It was recorded at Randy Bachman's legendary studio "The Barn" and his own home studio "The Trailer".

The first single "Same Old Me" should be a radio and dance floor favourite with Tom's trademark infectious melodic bass line, groovy beats and ultra-catchy chorus.
