BIOGRAPHY

With a career spanning more than 40 years, Eric Clapton continues to sell out concert halls and record Platinum CD'S. Long after most of his generation found themselves relegated to delete bins and county fairs, Claptons soulful vocals, virtuoso guitar and classic songwriting allows him to remain at the top of popular music. Integrity is the word that comes to mind. Journeyman (named after Erics 1989 hit album) is a tribute to the genius that is Eric Clapton. With veteran guitarist/vocalist (and lifelong fan) Mike Hall at the helm, this band features some of the best known sidemen in Canadian music. (Present and former members of Tom Cochrane, David Usher, Honeymoon Suite, Sas Jordan ,etc.)

Hall (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Slowhand) cut his teeth at the famed Berklee College of Music in Boston in the early 80s. This was followed by a 7 year stint recording and touring with hard rockers Killer Dwarfs and later several years on the road with platinum sellers Helix!

Journeyman plays all the great Clapton hits from every era… the mid-60s with John Mayalls Bluesbreakers and Cream…. the latter part of that decade with Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominoes and Delaney and Bonnie and on to the illustrious solo career that commenced in the early 70s and has lasted until the present day.
