The unique sound, energy and look of the legendary rock band Deep Purple
comes to life when Highway Star takes the stage.
With many years of
experience, the members of Highway Star recreate the excitement and feel of
Deep Purple's spectacular live performances, right down to the authentic
instruments and stage clothes. The glowing Hammond organ, the Fender Strats, the wall of Marshall stacks, the mirror balls and
smoke machines all serve to bring to life raucous renditions of Purple
classics, such as 'Space Truckin', 'Woman from Tokyo', 'Fireball' and of
course the legendary 'Smoke on the Water'. All of Deep Purple's numerous
hits, along with many of their lesser known songs, are faithfully reproduced
note for note to give the audience a more than convincing performance of a
live DP show. People of all ages and walks of life, including musicians and
industry professionals, have commented on how authentic and genuine Highway
Star looks and sounds. Many times people have said: "That was absolutely
