BIOGRAPHY

David "Squatch" Ward was born in Glasgow, Scotland and moved to British Columbia at age of three.

Squatch started in the entertainment business in 1986 as a stand-up comic while running a nightclub, which featured comedy. The second week that the club was in operation, one of the acts failed to show.  The full house had paid a hefty cover charge to get in; Squatch took the stage and told jokes. He was such a hit that three months later he quit his job, went on the road and continues to this day.

In 1990, Squatch was hosting a talent contest when an agent who went on to get him auditions for films and television shows being shot in Vancouver approached him.  The rest is history.

His numerous film credits include: National Lampoon's Golf Punks, Dirty,  Underworld, Carpool, Once in a Blue Moon, Ernest Rides Again, Harmony Cats, Stay Tuned, Mystery Date and Wings.  Television appearances include Police Academy, The Sentinel, Dead Man's Gun, Alibi, The Outer Limits, The adventures of Shirley Holmes, Highlander, The Commish, Neon Rider, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Mom P.I., Wiseguy and Disney’s So Weird.

Squatch is a guarantee of an evening of fun.  He does appeal to a wide demographic audience with their combination of off the wall humour, zany onstage antics, characters, impressions and outrageous musical numbers.
